Hi all,
This is an information of the speical service on Feb. 16th 7 pm in Korean Baptist Church, Gainesville.
We invited Missionary John Kang on that day. He has been served over 10 years in Uzbekistan as a dentist, now he is a senior director of InterCP, one of the most prominent mission organization in South Korea.
Our english website is the below.
http://www.intercp.us
He is going to talk about current status of world mission, in particular for islamic mission, and back-to-jerusalem movement which is christian evangelistic campaign begun by chinese house church leaders to send missionaries to all the Buddhist, Hindu, and Muslim peoples who live between china and jerusalem. However, currently, the terminology is used in more boader ways. I talked to him personally several times and listened his sermon. It was really insightful and powerful. I guess this may be really rare opportunity to see the perspectives of the world christian movement from Asidan missionary leadership.
We plan this service mainly to support the current prayer movement at UF & our local area. Currently one of our co-workers, UF undergrad, who came from Iran after a half year SVM (Student Volunteer Movement) program plan to run, actually is running, the prayer group with her friends. This prayer group is mainly targeting for campus outreach and evangelism for students and Gainesville local people who came from 10/40 windows countries, unreached people groups, God's childeren who is not yet in His boundary. They are praying for them and their own countries in a regular basis.
I guess this unique opportuny will challenge all of us to raise up God's vision for the nations. The kindom of God is really coming.
Let's see how our Jesus is faithfully working in this generation toward the end and committed our life to him in more strategic ways.
We're not that passionate and not strong in faith. We, honestly, are still full of weakness. But, we know, for sure, Jesus is diligently working with his own purpose. And we know His kingdom is coming fast than you expected. Please bring your friends and help them to have God's vision. We are looking forward to seeing you.
